Add It Up

$1,000 scholarship rewards hard work

As a college student, you are busy managing a variety of responsibilities in addition to your academics—which makes achieving your educational goals in a timely manner all the more important. To assist you on your road to success, Inver Hills Community College is offering all first-year students the opportunity to receive a $1,000 Add It Up Scholarship simply for completing at least 30 credits during a one-year period at Inver.

“I’ve got to say it’s nice for once to have your hard work pay off in a tangible way. The Add It Up Scholarship is so gratifying.” — Jennifer Luhman, A.A. major with Emphasis in Biology

How and when you complete those 30 credits is entirely up to you. Perhaps you want to take 12 credits during your first semester, 15 your second semester and finish out with another three credits. Maybe you want to take 15 credits for two consecutive semesters. Or maybe you have another way of doing it. As long as the numbers of credits you complete in a one-year period add up to 30, we’ll add a $1,000 scholarship to your student account for the semester after your first full academic year.

Consider adding a course or courses to your schedule to keep progress toward completing your degree at Inver Hills headed in the right direction, all while subtracting $1,000 from your tuition balance. Whatever your motivation, it all adds up to success at Inver Hills.
