Inver Hills Theatre presents:
An Enemy of the People
By Arthur Miller
Adapted from the play by Henrik Ibsen
Directed by Jason Gonzalez
Two siblings, one the ambitious mayor of a struggling town, one an idealist M.D. and scientist, battle over progress and prosperity vs. the right to know.
Kirsten Springs, a medicinal bath on the outskirts of town, has the potential to turn life around for the community and its residents. Trouble is, the water’s toxic.
The doctor fights to get the word out, threatening the boom times promised by the spring water. His sister, the mayor, does all she can to muzzle, ostracize and discredit him. Who is the true enemy of the people?
