Cultivating Curiosity: Inspiration, Connection and Wonder • April 19 & April 20
Inver Hills Community College is hosting the Annual Research Conference Wednesday, April 19, and Thursday, April 20, 2023, in the Fine Arts building on the college’s campus in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota.
This spring’s conference theme is Cultivating Curiosity: Inspiration, Connection and Wonder. Our keynote speakers are Michael Kleber-Diggs, poet, essayist, literary critic, and arts educator, and Zaylore Stout, attorney, advocate, activist, community leader, researcher, and author.
The Annual Research Conference is dedicated to the growth and development of students and faculty in the search for wisdom through the sharing and scrutiny of academic research. The conference provides participants an opportunity to improve skills such as communication, organization, public presentation, active listening, and the importance of questioning general assumptions and basic argumentative structures.
