April 2 kicks off a week of programing and events to guide you toward career success
The Center for Experiential Learning (CEL) at Inver Hills Community College is holding an event a day during Career Week Spring 2018 on the college’s main campus in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota. Each event is designed to help students engage with the college community and plan for success in their future careers.
“You can connect with CEL on Facebook, hone your workplace etiquette skills, discover Travelers EDGE, learn how to apply for a government job and get crucial job application information direct from employers,” said Emily Johnson, Center for Experiential Learning director. “Inver Hills is dedicated to making sure you achieve success in both your academic and professional careers.”

What is experiential learning?
- Experiential learning is a process through which students develop knowledge, skills and values from direct experiences outside a traditional academic setting.
- Experiential learning encompasses a variety of activities including internships, community-based learning, and other creative and professional work experiences.
