August Hoffman, Metro State psychology faculty, will be at EcoExperience Sept. 5

August Hoffman, Ph.D., a psychology professor at Metropolitan State University and co-founder of the Inver Hills Community College/Metro State Interdisciplinary Community Garden and Orchard, will be speaking at the Minnesota State Fair Saturday, Sept. 5, at noon. August and three of his students, Stephen Doody, Shawn Veldey and Rich Downs, will be discussing the community garden and its role on campus and in neighboring communities.

The talk is titled “Healthy Foods for All Populations: Helping Communities Reduce Hunger” and will take place on the Sustainability Stage in the EcoExperience building.
