Inver Hills Community College is hosting the college’s annual Fine Arts Festival Wednesday, April 13, and Thursday, April 14, 2022. This year’s event will be held virtually and will showcase the work of student and faculty artists presenting, performing, and participating in the following areas: Art, Music, Theatre, and Creative Writing.
Attending our Fine Arts Festival will also give you opportunities to from hear established local and national artists, meet our talented faculty and staff, and learn about the numerous career opportunities in the arts.
The Fine Arts Festival at Inver Hills is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

About Sylvia’s director: Lisa Weaver
A Minnesota native, Lisa Weaver directed last year’s Inver Hills Theatre Zoom production of The Bear Crashes the Wedding Bash. Lisa has also been teaching theatre and directing shows at Anoka-Ramsey Community College for 11 years. Some shows she has directed over that time include Lend Me a Tenor, Little Shop of Horrors, A View from the Bridge, The Hollow, 33 Variations and Watermelon Hill.
Lisa spent 10 years at The Commonweal Theatre Company in Lanesboro, Minnesota, where she directed, taught, performed, and served as education director. She has also worked with Park Square, 10,000 Things, and the Denver Center.
Lisa received her B.A. in Drama from Tufts University in Massachusetts and her M.F.A. in Acting from the National Theatre Conservatory in Denver. She continues to delight in her work and the community of Minnesota State colleges and universities.
