Travelers EDGE students from Inver Hills and Saint Paul College participate
The GAM²E Conference took place Friday, October 20, 2017, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Student Center on the Metropolitan State University campus in St. Paul, Minnesota. Standing for Getting Ahead through Money Management and Education, GAM²E empowers Travelers EDGE students with financial literacy and higher education knowledge.
The conference, which included breakout sessions in the Metro State Library and Learning Center, prepared participating students in a number of ways, allowing them to:
- Make informed financial decisions
- Work toward their own success
- Use their education to help themselves, their families and their communities
“The GAM²E Conference brought together about fifty students from Inver Hills and Saint Paul College,” said Matt Kruger, director of TRIO Student Support Services and Travelers EDGE at Inver Hills. “The conference featured presenters from Travelers, Bremer Bank, The Open Door and Family Means as well as transfer representatives and students from Metropolitan State University and Augsburg College.”
