Residents of St. Paul, Inver Grove Heights and surrounding areas are invited each winter to submit applications to grow food as a community or reserve a space for personal use in the garden. Individual plots are 10 feet by 10 feet, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority going to students enrolled at Inver Hills and Metro State.

In season, gardeners work on site seasonally on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon, and Saturdays from noon to 2 p.m. All are invited to drop by, pick up a shovel and share in this community service! Gardens are messy places; please wear sturdy shoes and dress accordingly.
If you would like to donate to the community garden fund, you may do so via the Inver Hills Foundation.

The Inver Hills Community College-Metropolitan State University Interdisciplinary Community Garden and Orchard is located behind Heritage Hall on the south side of the Inver Hills campus. Established in spring 2012, the garden is maintained by students, faculty, staff and community members, and generates produce for local community food shelves, as well as for individual students and community members who grow produce for personal use in reserved plots.
