Jennifer Davis, Current Work, an exhibition featuring artwork by Minneapolis-based painter, Jennifer Davis, is showing now through Monday, March 14, 2022, at Gallery 120. Art shows and exhibitions are hosted at Gallery 120’s brick-and-mortar location in the atrium of the Fine Arts building on the Inver Hills Community College campus in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota.

Jennifer Davis is known for her colorful, imaginative paintings of surreal and whimsical characters. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions at venues such as:

  • The Minneapolis Institute of Arts, Minneapolis, Minnesota
  • The DeVos Art Museum, Marquette, Michigan
  • Foster Museum, Eau Claire, Wisconsin
  • Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History, Santa Cruz, California
  • The Lesher Center for the Arts, San Francisco, California
  • ArtSpace, Raleigh, North Carolina
  • Turchin Center for the Visual Arts, Boone, North Carolina
  • As well as other galleries in major cities across the U.S. and Canada

Jennifer has received a number of awards and grants, including a Print Making Residency at the Lawrence Arts Center in Lawrence, Kansas, in 2016, a Next Step Fund Grant from the Minnesota Regional Arts Council/McKnight Foundation in 2013, and a Metropolitan Regional Arts Council Next Step Fund Grant in 2012. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) from the University of Minnesota.
