Inver Hills Theatre is holding auditions for the Children’s Theatre production of Little Red Riding Hood. Based on the original folk tale, the play is adapted by Lisa Denninger and directed by George M. Roesler.
The auditions take place Wednesday, March 1, and Thursday, March 2, 2023, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Fine Arts Theatre on the Inver Hills Community College campus in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota.
Auditions postponed from February 22 and February 23, 2023, due to winter storm.
The public performance of Little Red Riding Hood is Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 1 p.m. in the Fine Arts Theatre.
The Story
Little Red Riding Hood is a classic fairy tale originally written by Charles Perrault. The story tells the tale of a young girl who is sent to deliver food to her sick grandmother, but along the way she encounters a cunning wolf who plans to eat them both.
Through her wit and courage, Little Red Riding Hood is able to outsmart the wolf and save the day. This story is a timeless classic that has been enjoyed by children for centuries.
