PokéStops, PokéGyms and Pokédex
If you’ve never heard of Pokémon GO, welcome back to planet Earth. Visit Pokémon GO to catch up in a hurry. Inver Hills has seven PokéStops on campus and two just off campus plus two PokéGyms. See below for tips that will help you catch them all.
Heritage Hall PokéStop
Tip: Stand outside between Activities building and Heritage Hall near the Sunken Garden and you can access both PokéStops at the same time.
Note: Heritage Hall has classrooms and labs for the Biology, Chemistry and Emergency Medical Services programs. Pokémon love students in these programs.
Saving Lives Mural PokéStop
Tip: Same as above.
Note: Inver Hills has the finest EMS program in the state of Minnesota. Visit Emergency Medical Services to learn more.
Laurence Margolis Bench PokéStop
Tip: Stop by the Learning Center in the Library building and visit Rebecca Merton, director of disability services, and access this PokéStop at the same time.
Note: This bench is dedicated to Larry Margolis, retired and well-respected Inver Hills CFO.
Public Arts Space PokéStop
Tip: This PokéStop can be troublesome due to service issues; try accessing it from outside the Fine Arts building.
Note: You can earn an A.F.A. in Art at Inver Hills while specializing in one of six artistic disciplines: painting, ceramics, photography, glass, sculpture and drawing.
Fine Art Sculpture PokéStop
Jack Wahl Memorial Tree PokéStop
Tip: This PokéStop is tucked away near the Liberal Arts bottom level just south of the Technology Services building.
Note: Our psychology faculty take a scientific approach to studying the behavior and mental processes of people (not Pokémon). You can pursue an A.A. with Emphasis in Psychology at Inver.
Inver Hills Community College Main Sign
Tip: You have to walk or drive right up to the sign; you can’t access it from the sidewalk across the street.
Note: Inver Hills Community College offers A.A., A.S., A.A.S. degrees and certificates. You can capture Inver online at inverhills.edu.
Inver Glen Library PokéStop
Tip: You have to check out a book or compliment a librarian to access this PokéStop and get your Poké Balls, eggs, potions, Razz Berries and other items. (Just kidding.)
Note: You can almost certainly find Pokémon at the Inver Hills Community College Library, but don’t annoy the librarians.
Inver Grove Heights Trail System PokéStop
Tip: Wow, Inver Grove Heights has many hiking trails, but don’t worry, this sign is easy spot at the intersection of Broderick Blvd. and College Trail.
Note: You can learn more about hiking trails in our area by visiting Inver Grove Heights Park Trail Maps.

Note: The Inver Hills–Metro State Community Garden & Orchard is amazing.
Klas Tower PokéGym
