Provost and VP for Academic Affairs Forums

Inver Architecture

Meet the three finalists the week of April 2

The Provost Search Advisory Committee at Inver Hills Community College is holding open forums for members of the campus community to meet the three finalist candidates in the committee’s search for the college’s next provost and vice president of academic affairs. All three forums will be recorded for people who are unable to attend the scheduled events.

In December 2017, Inver Hills began a national search to fill the position. A committee comprised of faculty, staff and student members reviewed applications and conducted interviews in February and March. Based upon committee recommendations, three finalists have been invited to visit our campus April 2, 3 and 4, 2018.

More information on the upcoming open forums…

Campus visits will include opportunities for each candidate to meet with key college constituent groups, including deans, faculty, staff, students and the cabinet. Each candidate will also hold an open public forum—and all members of the campus community are welcome to attend.

Each candidate will share a brief presentation about what they have learned so far about Inver Hills Community College, and how what they’ve learned has helped them to develop a vision for leadership in academic affairs and the future of Inver Hills. The presentation will be followed by Q & A with the audience.

NOTE: For people who cannot attend the open forums in person, you can view the forums live on Inver Hills Facebook each day.
