Scrubs Camps are back for the summer of 2018. HealthForce Minnesota is delivering two camps for middle and high school students this coming June. You can register online (see below) for both popular camps.
A collaborative partnership of education, industry and community, HealthForce Minnesota was created to:
- Increase the number and expand the diversity of healthcare workers
- Integrate health science education practice and research
- Build capacity for education and industry to collaborate to enhance patient care
HealthForce Minnesota is committed to integrating the expertise and resources of education, healthcare providers and community members. Winona State University is the fiscal agent.
Scrubs Camps 2018
Scrubs Camps are engaging, interactive and fun experiences open to any middle and high school student. Depending on the specific camp, students could spend two to six days exploring a variety of healthcare careers like nursing, laboratory science, vet medicine, pharmacy and many others.
Students experience these careers through field trips and hands-on activities facilitated by healthcare professionals and college faculty.
Scrubs Camp One
Description
This daytime camp provides hands-on discovery experiences for students interested in learning more about careers in the healthcare industry. Scrubs Camp One takes place Monday, June 18, and Tuesday, June 19, 2018.
