September 8 & 9, 2021 • 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. • Fine Arts Theatre
The Theatre department at Inver Hills Community College is holding auditions for Edgar Lee Masters’ Spoon River Anthology Wednesday, September 8, and Thursday, September 9, 2021, from 6 p.m. to 8. p.m. in the Fine Arts Theatre on the college’s campus in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota. All Inver Hills students, staff, faculty and administrators are welcome to audition.
Adapted by Shawna C. Evans and directed by George M. Roesler, the Inver Hills Theatre production presents a new telling of a true classic of American literature. From the pen of one of America’s greatest folk poets and storytellers comes an exploration of the depth of common human experiences. Poetic selections from the anthology illuminate the lives of deceased Spoon River citizens from the unguarded viewpoints of those citizens now residing in the afterlife.
