Inver Hills Community College is hosting Student Success Day on the college’s Inver Grove Heights campus Wednesday, October 3, 2018. Student Success Day is a full-day, student-centered event featuring free food, one-on-one faculty time and workshops to help students focus on their college goals. Plenty of free food will be served, including lunch and dinner, to keep students going the entire day.

- Balance your coursework, work and finances

- Organize your college life
Registration will be in the Fine Arts building from 8:30 a.m. till noon AND from 8:30 a.m. till 6 p.m. in Heritage Hall. Students can grab breakfast snacks, pick up an event program with room listings and get rolling on their Student Success Day Fall 2018. Students can register anytime during the day.
The event’s keynote speaker is Jesse Ross, author and personal and professional development coach (see below for details). The keynote address is 10 a.m. till 11 a.m. A downloadable program is coming soon.

Keynote speaker: Jesse RossJesse Ross is an author, speaker, and personal and professional development coach. His work is to guide people in effectively impacting their own communities: their families, their workplace, and beyond. Personal and professional development can come in many ways. Some of the areas Jesse focuses on include: how to be an effective communicator—at home or in your career, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and leadership development in the workplace.
Jesse is highly sought out as a keynote speaker and workshop facilitator. His presentations focus on four areas:
