Inver Hills Community College is hosting Student Success Day on the college’s Inver Grove Heights campus Tuesday, February 6, 2018. Student Success Day is a full-day, student-centered event featuring free food, one-on-one faculty time and workshops to help students focus on their college goals. Plenty of free food will be served, including lunch and dinner, to keep students going the entire day.

- Improve your GPA
- Meet with instructors
- Check out tutoring, student clubs and more
- Choose a major
- Balance your coursework, work and finances
- Discover your transfer options
- Organize your college life
Registration will be in the Fine Arts building from 8:30 a.m. till noon AND from 8:30 a.m. till 5 p.m. in Heritage Hall. Students can grab breakfast snacks, pick up an event program with room listings and get rolling on their Student Success Day Winter 2018. Students can register any time during the day.

Note: Tuesday, February 6, 2018, is a caucus night. Student Success Day will be wrapping up by 6 p.m. No activities or classes can be held on campus that evening (Minnesota Statutes section 202A.19, subd. 3 (2015).

Keynote speaker: Ella Dorner
Ella Dorner is the keynote speaker at the event. Ella experienced amnesia after a sustaining a traumatic brain injury from a fall when she was 16 years old. Her address will take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Fine Arts Theatre.

Attention Inver Hills faculty:
Faculty can incorporate Student Success Day into their class schedules in a number of ways. You can encourage your students to attend. Make attendance mandatory or offer extra credit to your students for participating in sessions. During the event, students will get the chance to meet with faculty one on one.
